<p>After graduating high school in 2010, I wanted to sample many differing areas in order to come up with a career plan. I worked numerous exciting casual jobs, all giving me a broad cross section of skills. I have always had a passion for film, editing and design, so in 2013 I commenced and then completed a full Diploma in Film and Television at Southbank.</p>
<p>Then, after working within the Film and Television industry for a year, I ended up taking a much-needed break from Australia, and headed over for a life changing experience working in Canada. During my final weeks stay, my good family friend who has been around the computer sector for years was discussing possible career options. I was introduced into the world of computer coding and instantly I was super intrigued. It was decided frontend design would be a great place to start as many aspects of my Film and Television experience could be transferred into creating eye-catching and creative websites.</p>
<p>After some careful research, I decided to start at the popular Free Code Camp. I found Free Code Camp to be an informative and fun introduction into the world of front end design, but with it being quite brief, it was not enough to expedite my learning. After my time at Free Code camp, I decided to continue my learning via some popular Udemy courses. The Udemy courses were a great eye opener into the vast and real world of front end design. My ability and knowledge has now expanded.</p>
<p> In the coming months, I look forward to escalating my front end skill set, in particular with SASS, CSS animations and JavaScript. For the years to come, I will continue my coding journey as the possible outlets seem endless. This may be overwhelming for some, but for me, I see this as the perfect career path to pursue due to the endless opportunities coding can bring. I would welcome the opportunity to discuss any chances for me to show my worth, energy and ideas.</p>
